i'm sitting in arsaga's on gregg right now. neil young is singing to me from the coffee shop speakers. i cannot go to any other coffee shop in fayetteville because to me, they are all impersonal and have coffee i don't like. for example, the perk is too far away from me, and their lattes never taste like it has real coffee in them. arsaga's II on crossover is the opposite of gregg, for they take credit card and not check where here they take check and not credit card. and RZ's... lets not even talk about that. anywhere else might be good, but its probably too far to drive. here there is free internet, interesting people, and a wonderfully large mosaic tiled table perfect for doing research and people watching.
speaking of research, i am currently attempting to embark on the paper i have to write for my politics of the middle east class. i chose to write mine on turkey, mainly because Ian is reading a concise history of China, so out of respect for another poli sci brain head like myself who loves to take interest in other people's "claimed" countries, i will write about turkey. right now the task proves daunting as i have yet to crack any of the many books sitting to my right. and i also haven't decided what angle to take in my paper, whether to write about women in islam in turkey, or turkey's desire to enter the EU, the challenge of turkey to europe and the u.s., or the so-called secularization of turkey but the challenge of an actual islamic society... oh the possibilities. i would love writing on any of those, and there is much information to find on a number of subjects. but right now i am indecisive.
i think i'm going with mac n' cheese.

erin is probably going as a super-sized fry, so I was thinking large milk shake? I'm still deliberating.
halloween
whoa its been a while. The last two weeks I've had the terrible midtermitis disease. Yes, it was bad, but I am finally over it.
On a more fun note, I need help with my halloween costume. I have narrowed it down to a few, but I need some input. Here are my choices:
*An old lady (not very unique, but could possibly be very funny)
*A rubics cube (why not?)
*A Siamese twin (I am thinking of attaching a mannequins head and and extra leg and arm or something...)
*A cereal killer (this one has been used before. Its where you tape a bunch of cereal boxes to you and stick knives in them)
*macaroni and cheese (this is a secret. I'm not telling you how I would do it if I were to indeed be macaroni and cheese)
