while reading an article online, i found out that actor orlando bloom converted to a form of japanese buddhism.
along those lines, several actors and directors have been forever banned from entering mainland china (due to their involvement with movies about tibet or tibet itself), including richard gere, martin scorsese, and brad pitt. i don't really know why, but this is mildly amusing to me.

in the words of the pixies, "where is my mind?"
the spring seemed to go by much quicker than i anticipated. nonetheless,
i'm happy for it, and happy that summer is here.
there is so much that has to be done though, and
i'm frantically trying to do it all. well, actually
i'm learning to delegate, which is hard at times, but much easier than trying to do everything myself. thanks,
tracey, for being the one to hold me accountable and provide vision. thanks, mom, for all the phone calls you make and all the running around you do on my behalf. and thank you,
erin, for everything you have done, are doing, and will do.
i'm going to buy you a big, fat, something-awesome.
because of all the crazy stuff,
i've had to put some things i love on the back burner. these neglected activities include taking pictures (i especially love to do this in the summer as the days and shadows cast by objects grow longer), painting, running regularly, reading (when was the last time i actually read??? no clue), sleeping.
some day i shall reclaim these beloved pastimes.
