welcome

people and places

campus feels pretty much like fall right now, with the exception of a million displaced freshman wandering around lost. I ran in to danis and got to chat with her for a bit which was lovely. and then I saw matt haglar on campus (i'm still not sure what he was doing since he isn't in class) and then saw brian and kenton brice, neither of them being in college anymore. and andrew marsh. So it was friendly day for me.

in other news, megan and i found an apartment. they are ridiculously cheap, brand new, and totally in a prime location next to campus. how could they be such a good deal? you ask, well, i don't know. hopefully there is no catch. they are a block behind the tennis complex off of razorback. walking distance! yes! i think i might get a bike to ride to class. that would be fun and collegiate like.

i'm excited for fall. won't you join me in praying that it rains a lot in the next month so that we can have beautiful leaves on the trees for autumn?
