welcome polly and eric to the blogging world.

review of the new fayetteville TGI Friday's:

last night megan, kimberly, rachel and i went to eat at the recently opened tgi friday's. the hostesses were very nice, and we didn't have to wait very long before we were seated. we sat at this strange half circle table (one like on the commercials) in the bar. the atmosphere was great-- very alive and fun, open and fresh. our server was kinda lame; he (unsuccessfully) flirted with us while attempting to wait on our table. overall the service was not at stellar as the atmosphere. kimberly's order was messed up, and we had to ask several times for ranch, lemons, etc.

i had the jalapeno burger, which sounded better than it tasted, but was still pretty good. kimberly had the buffalo wings, which she enjoyed. rachel had the jack daniels steak (whichever one it was) and she said it was delicious. megan had the electric lemonade, which was tasty, but it cost her $7 (outrageous!). their sweet tea is pretty good. in regards to the whole meal, it was a little pricey for the taste and quality of the food. overall, i give the experience a B-.

I remember at one point in my life where everything was starting for me just out of college and it seemed like my whole life was about to be mapped out. I remember the scariest situation imaginable for me was that one day the biggest decison in my little suburban life was that I would have to decide whether to take my wife and my same other two couple friends to TGI Friday's or Applebee's. Seriously, just recounting those days makes me want to ball up in the fetal position and cry. That is why I don't like those chain sit down places. Don't go to those places if at all possible, just go to Hugo's or Common Grounds or somewhere unique. Wow, what a random comment...Sorry...
