the red cedar 1931-1933
lately i have enjoyed the works of emily carr, a renown canadian painter from the 20th century. carr is known for her expressionist landscapes and bright fauvist style of painting. she was also a member of the contemporary canadian art movement known as the "group of seven." her pieces of the british columbia forest (which i am the most fond of) display an amazing array of mood and mysticism that captivate me.

Hey, I need your advice on a camera - I found a nice Nikon N65 at a Pawn shop for $100. Worth it?
